For the past 9 years I have enjoyed offering a pampering service for 5-12 years old special occasions such as birthdays, bat mitzvahs and so on. The girls love a little pampering and having their nails painted and makeup applied. All very cute and natural for their age group, and set up in a pink style. Last November I was doing makeup for one of my amazing clients in London, whom I have worked with for over 10 years.

Her daughter is the incredibly successful vlogger Amelia Liana, who has a fantastic social media following. Her photos are so gorgeous and she gives fab advice on everything style, beauty, travel etc. I remember Amelia as a young girl so it’s been so incredible to see her become this huge vlogger, so much work and dedication goes into it! I coudn’t help and share this video from last year, where you can see me in action around 9.11 minutes into the video (up til 9.57 minutes) quite fun to see me very concentrated, blending shadows and doing a very glamorous makeup for a charity event my lovely client is attending later that day. How beautiful is she by the way!

It’s that time of the year.. Bridal season!!

You may be wondering what to organise for the future bride and how to make her hen weekend memorable, fun and pampering!

A makeup artist is a fantastic way to add some pampering for the group and look your best for the party! To add an activity, a group makeup lesson is more hands on and a fun way to mix looking great, learning and sharing a fun experience together.

One or two makeup artists depending on the group size can be booked, as well as adding other treats such as eyebrow grooming, massage etc.

Visits to your hotel or home, or a venue can be arranged on request.

A blusher is the most effective product at enhancing your face quickly.

As well as delivering a healthy flush in an instant, it adds subtle definition to the face and gives your skin a youthful appearance.

Picking the right Blusher:

When it comes to picking a blusher, you need to select the right texture for your skin.

Generally, cream and gel texture blushers work best for drier skin tones, as powders tend to settle into lines which can look older.

For normal or dry skins, cream blush gives a dewy healthy glow to the skin.

If you go for powder, sweep blusher onto the apples of the cheeks with a brush and blend out towards the top of the ears with small circular movements.

With cream textures, apply a small amount using your middle finger from apples of the cheeks blending outwards with gentle strokes.

Blusher should give a fresh healthy colour to the skin and face, so it’s best to apply small amounts and add if necessary.

Finding the right tone for your skin is important, and the poster above gives you a good idea of the different tones to pick for your colouring.

How lucky am I to work with women of all ages, colouring and walks of life. Each special lady has her own life story and her own beauty routine. It is my passion to help women feel more confident, and the way I can do that through makeup fulfills me enormously. I work with ladies who love makeup and have huge makeup bags to ladies who have never worn makeup. Doing a Makeup lesson around the age of 50 is a fantastic thing to do, it can make a woman feel confident again, fresher, brighter.. or just happy to know what to do to achieve an easy and fast makeup in their busy life.
