Love the Gua Sha tool!

Monday, May 4th, 2020

This lovely tool has become my new favourite facial routine.

You may have heard of Gua Sha aa a traditional Chinese medicinal tool. The term gua sha refers to a practice to create redness on the skin,  just like you would get after a massage – meaning your skin cells are getting an oxygen boost.

Shaped to fit around the contours of your face, when moved across your face and neck, it brightens, tones and tightens.

As a daily skin care ritual, the Gua Sha is natural, easy to use,  great to de-puff and detoxify – as well as for firming your neck, boosting lymphatic drainage and bringing much-needed relief from muscular tension.

Used as part of your morning and/or evening skin care regime, it helps to enhance the absorption of your serum, oil or moisturiser.

Move the gua sha along your jawline, cheekbones and from centre of your forehead to your hairline. The stone has a lovely cooling effect too so it can be held under the eyes.

It stimulates the lymph, the muscles and gives the skin a fresh, healthy vibrancy, like if it just had a workout.

Wonderful to keep the skin looking fresh and young, it will also improve your makeup application.
